Rooted Ink was born from a deep love for two places we call home, India and Australia. One, vibrant with centuries-old craft and color. The other, breezy and grounded in simplicity. We set out to create a space where these two worlds could meet. A space that felt both familiar and new.

What started as an idea over late-night chai-fueled conversations soon became a brand rooted in heritage, heart, and modern-day ease.

Meet the Founders

🧵 Shaily Shah – Creative Lead
With her experience of designing sustainable homes, Shaily brings a designer’s eye and a deep appreciation for detail to everything we create. With her background in architecture, she reimagines ancient Indian patterns into functional, beautiful pieces that speak to a new generation balancing form, function, and storytelling in every stitch.

📋 Karan Mistry – Admin & Operations
The backbone of our flow. With an engineering background and a love for structure (and spreadsheets), Karan handles the moving parts from production logistics to customer experience. He’s the reason your order arrives on time and beautifully packed.

Our Gen Z IT whiz, fitness freak, and digital dreamer, Khushi brings a unique wave of energy to the team. She’s the one turning creative chaos into cool, scroll-stopping moments. Living and breathing aesthetic, connection, and all things online, she translates our brand into reels, stories, and vibes that actually feel like us.
